Seminar 2 (In-person) 1-day event

In September, we held in-person teacher training seminars in both Tokyo and Osaka for the first time since the start of the pandemic. We received feedback from participating teachers that it was a great opportunity to get practical guidance as well as raising awareness of various issues. As announced in the previous newsletter, Seminar 2, which is to be held in October, will also be a one-day event. Please see the attached file for details.

Osaka: 9 October (Sun), 10 am - 5 pm at Osaka Shashin Kaikan

Seminar 3

We are currently planning for this to be held over two days, with some of the content of Seminar 2 interwoven.

Tokyo: 6 November (Sun) and 7 November (Mon) at PLS Hamadayama School

Osaka: 13 November (Sun) and 14 November (Mon) at Osaka Shashin Kaikan

The PLS Autumn Forum (online)

This year's Autumn Forum will be held online, and will put the spotlight on multi-national, multi-cultural workplaces with the theme,  “Language and Culture in the workplace”.

More details will be available soon. We hope to see you there.

Oxford Reading Tree series price changes, etc.

The Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) series publishers have notified us of changes to the series (price revisions, out-of-print notifications, and restructuring of some products).

Please review the attachments for further details.

Please also find an updated order sheet for teaching materials reflecting the new prices attached.

Orders placed before 30 September will be honored at the current price.
